The big one this month: the Helios app is now available to everyone. Plus tomorrow's electricity prices in the app and a help centre you can use yourself. Here is what you notice at home.
The Helios app is available to download
You can now install the Helios app from the App Store and from Google Play. No more waiting for a link: search for it, install it, log in with your account.
See tomorrow's electricity prices, not just today's
The price view now shows the full day plus tomorrow's prices as soon as they are published. That makes it a planning tool rather than a status screen: you can see when power is cheapest and put the dishwasher, the car or the washing machine in that window.
Helios picks the best way to steer your battery
On installations with a Sungrow inverter, Helios now chooses how to steer your battery depending on what is needed. When the goal is simply to use your own solar power, it lets your inverter handle that directly. When something more precise is needed, Helios takes over the steering itself. You do not have to set anything; it switches by itself, and in that mode your battery never charges from the grid.
If you have more than one inverter, Helios always keeps control itself, because leaving it to the individual inverters does not work well when there are several of them.
Switching between day, week and month is smoother
Colours are consistent across views, larger values display correctly, and you can export a chart.
Help when you need it
There is now a proper help centre where you can look things up yourself, and you can reach us directly from the app. You are shown the articles that apply to your situation rather than everything at once.
